Erika Nielsen, TCRG

Erika Nielsen, T.C.R.G. has spent the past 30 years immersed in Irish dance, growing up in the DC area and first taking the floor at the age of three. Over her competitive career, she earned three Southern Region Oireachtas championship titles, top 5 placement at the North American Nationals, and placed at both the All Ireland and World Championships. After receiving her B.A. in Public Relations from George Mason University, Erika transitioned to the global stage, touring internationally with productions including Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games, Rockin’ Road to Dublin, and Women of Ireland, highlighted by performing on Broadway alongside Michael Flatley. She has also shared the stage with acclaimed artists including Eileen Ivers, The Chieftains, Michael Londra, and Andy Cooney.

Erika received her T.C.R.G. certification in 2017. Complementing her Irish dance with ballet classes and certification as a Pure Barre instructor, she brings an eye for strong core mechanics, stage presence, and low-impact athletic conditioning directly into her classes. In the studio, she focuses on foundational technique and building self-assurance in an encouraging, high-energy space.

Outside the studio, Erika works in tech as a Strategic Partner Account Manager for public sector at Nintex. She couldn’t be happier to team up with close friends and share her lifelong passion with the school’s community.
