Open Studio Summer Sessions

Open Studio summer sessions enable dancers to utilize the DIDA studio to practice their steps, gain tips from other classmates and have fun dancing together, summer style! These guided practice sessions are intended as individual/group rehearsal time and are not formal classes. Each session will be supervised by an experienced DIDA teacher or advanced student. Begins the last week of July and goes through the end of August.


90-min session, cost of one drop-in class credit ($25 drop-in).

Pilates Core

Pilates is a fun yet challenging workout designed to strengthen the core, improve flexibility and encourage wellbeing. DIDA founder Joe Duffey provides a supportive environment for all students - no prior experience necessary! The class is 45 minutes and includes a guided meditation as well as foam roller techniques. Great for everybody, not just Irish dancers!

In-studio and virtual option available!

Wednesdays 6:45-7:30pm

Treble Reel Workshop

Explore fun performance-based choreography and creative rhythm in this drop-in Summer “workshop” class with Joe! Open to all dancers/ages, with prior hard shoe experience. Starting July 27th!


Held Wednesdays at 7:30pm, right after Pilates Core.

Skills and Drills

Skills and Drills is designed for dancers to work in a small group setting with our instructor team to break down and fine tune their technique in both soft and hard shoe. Open to all levels!

Soft Shoe: Saturday 10:45-11:30am

Hard Shoe: Saturday 11:30am-12:15pm
